Susie and I are former E-Bay sellers and buyers who got left out in the cold when E-Bay required sellers to accept credit cards and use, for a fee, PayPal. We are now offering items for sell as we did under the old E-Bay rules. We will accept personal checks (Held till they clear the bank) Money orders and if you make a local pickup, cash is always good. Our shipping price is the actual shipping cost plus additional insurance if needed. We use USPS Priority Mail as their shipping price now includes tracking and $50.00 insurance. Additional insurance can be purchased. We also combine shipping whenever possible.

CHESSIE COVERED CANDY JAR, DARK PURPLE IRIDESCENT CARNIVAL This footed candy box has the date embossed under the base: "Chessie" by Fenton December 1970 This has a heavily embossed Chessie Cat C & O Railroad logo. It stands 8.25" tall with its lid on and 5.25" without it, and 4" inches in diameter. It is so dark the inside almost looks black until you hold it up to the light. The colors are beautiful. I took lots of photos. It is in mint condition, having no damage of any kind. These were produced by Fenton Art Glass in West Virginia since the first issues for the C & O Railroad Executive gifts in about 1960, these superb, heavy molded glass pieces have become widely collected.

CHESSIE COVERED CANDY JAR, FENTON RED IRIDESCENT CARNIVAL This footed candy box has embossed under the base: "Chessie" by Fenton 1991 The jar really picks up the colors, great iridescence have been applied to it. I took plenty of photos as you can see. This has a heavily embossed Chessie Cat C & O Railroad logo. It stands 8" tall with its lid on and 5.25" without it, and 4" inches in diameter. It is in mint condition, having no damage of any kind. C & O "CHESSIE FOR CHILDREN" PLATE $25

This little plate measures 8 1/4 inches in diameter. It has no chips or cracks. The colors on this plate are very nice. The plate has not been used but displayed in my curio cabinet. The rim of the plates front shows 4 chessie cats chasing 4 little trains.The center of the plate has Chessie sleeping in his bed and a sweet little girl trying to wake him up with a gift in her hand with his name on it. The back of the plate reads: "Chessie for Children" Chessie was adapted as the mascot of the C & O Railway in 1933. and is now the symbol of the Chessie System Railroads. C & O "CHESSIE FOR CHILDREN" CUP $20

This adorable little cup measures 3 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches in diameter. It has no chips or cracks. The colors on this cup are very nice. The cup has not been used but displayed in my curio cabinet. Around the top of the cup is the little chessie cat with the train. On one side of the cupe we have a sleepy little boy stretching leaning on a pillow with his stuffed toy puppy and a Heart behind him with the sleeping Chessie inside. The other side has a little girl kneeling beside sleeping "Chessie", maybe saying her prayers. Her stuffed duck is beside her. The C & O logo is on Chessie's bed. The bottom of the cup reads: "Chessie for Children" copyright 1985 Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad Company WOODMERE CHINA

Santa Fe Pitcher & 4 Glasses $95

I have a set of 4 glasses and one pitcher with "Santa Fe" etched on them and old train. The number on the side of the train is 3751.
The glasses are 5.5 inches tall and 2.75 in diameter. The pitcher is just shy of 9 inches tall.
There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces. I think these were from the 1970's and probably some kind of longivity or safety award I am guessing.

Sold "CHESSIE" BY FENTON RED IRIDESCENT CARNIVAL BASKET $95 Sold

Mosser Cherry & Cable Carnival Glass Pitcher & Glasses $30

Purple Iridescent Carnival Glass individual pitcher & 4 small glasses in the Cherry & Cable pattern by Mosser. The pitcher is not marked but the glasses have the "M" inside on the bottom. The glasses also have a indented ribbed star on the bottom. The purple iridescent color also has blues, greens and gold as you can see in the photos. Beautiful colors. The pitcher measures 4" tall x 2.5" wide across the front. The glasses are 2" tall x 1.75" across the open top. The pitcher has a scalloped top edge and scalloped thumb print skirt around the bottom.
